Intel is ending August with a few price adjustments to its processor line and even a few new releases, although most are low-end products. The most notable shake to Intel's CPU offer is the Core i7-950 price cut - a 48% slash that brought the quad-core chip from $562 to $294.
Other noteworthy items are the Atom N550 - the first official dual-core mobile Atom, which costs $86, and the Xeon W3670, a 3.2 GHz hexa-core that goes for $885. The rest of the adjustments made by Intel are detailed below.
인텔이 8월 끝자락에서 몇몇 CPU들의 가격을 인하하고 새로운 CPU들을 출시했다.
가장 인상적인 점은 $562(약 67만원)였던 Core i7-950의 가격을 48%인하된 $294(약 35만원)로 내린것이다.
그 외에도 각각의 라인업에서 최상위 제품들이 될 Core i3-560($138, 약 16만 4천원), 팬티엄 E6800($86, 약 10만원), 셀러론 E3500($52, 약 6만원)이 새롭게 등장했다.
모바일 쪽에서는 첫번째 공식 듀얼 코어 모바일 아톰 프로세서인 아톰 N550가 $86(약 10만원)로 데뷔했고
서버 쪽에서는 제온 W3670이 $885(약 105만원)에 새롭게 등장했으며 기존 W3550의 가격은 $387(약 46만원)에서 $294(약 35만원)로 인하됐다.
